How our sliding scale works
Fees are based on your gross household income and family size. Choose the tier that fits your situation — no documentation, no verification, no judgment. Our base rate is $150/hour. Every discount below that is subsidized by subscribers and donors who believe, like we do, that access to help shouldn’t depend on what you earn.
Your first consultation is always free. If you genuinely can’t afford any fee, talk to us — no family is ever turned away.
Important: All rates shown are per hour of advocacy service. Most client engagements are resolved in 2–4 hours. Complex cases (billing disputes, multi-level appeals) may require more time. We’ll always discuss scope and expectations before work begins.
